How this draft handles changes and missing details
Source edits change the original questionnaire. Owner revisions stay separate and retain the source snapshot they were based on. A changed question, answer, source reference or section mapping marks an existing revision stale. Recheck it against the new source, then explicitly keep or update it. Missing answers remain unresolved even when an owner revision is present.
All URLs, HTML and Markdown are plain text, not active links or formatting. There is no automatic browser storage. Refreshing or closing loses unsaved work. JSON backups and exports are unencrypted files; protect them and confirm downloads actually saved.
Limits: 30 items; 500 characters per question; 8,000 per answer; 300 per source reference; 30,000 per owner revision; 160 per project/client name; 2 MiB per backup. Character limits count UTF-16 code units. Source snapshots and revisions count toward the backup limit. Import only a complete version-1 BriefBuilder JSON backup saved by this app, not arbitrary questionnaire JSON.

No account. No charge. Manual questionnaire mapping and deterministic assembly, not AI writing. Original answers and owner revisions remain separate. Every export is DRAFT / UNAPPROVED; local review is not client approval.

Local processing: your questionnaire and brief contents stay in this tab’s memory and are not uploaded by this app. Closing or reloading loses work. No app analytics or persistent browser storage. When hosted, the hosting provider receives normal access logs for page and asset requests.
Keep exports private: JSON backups, text, Markdown and printable HTML are unencrypted copies. Clearing the app does not delete downloaded files. Check that downloads saved before closing. Native browser downloads, keyboard behavior and mobile layouts still need release QA.
